Hi, I’m Ben, a creative portrait photographer based in Poulton-le-Fylde, a small market town on the Fylde Coast close to its better known neighbour, Blackpool.

Photography is a passion that’s been with me all of my adult life and as my skill set has evolved over the years I have developed a real passion for informal portrait photography, the shots that really capture a moment or emotion, rather than the posed ‘SAY CHEESE’ style of yesterday. As a father of three I know that these are the pictures I treasure the most. No stuffy studios in your Sunday best, just a day out having fun, doing what you do with those you love, recorded creatively by me. Pets, kids, hobbies, if its your passion, it deserves recording. The pinnacle of portrait photography for me is wedding photography and it is always a privilege to be asked to record a couples special day. We’ve all been to a wedding where the photographer seems to think that the day is more about them than the couple and guests, an approach that makes me shudder! As with my portrait photography I aim to shoot in an informal manner as much as possible, blending into the background capturing the full day of smiles, laughter, tears and prosecco! Good communication and planning prior to the big day ensures I have a full understanding of how you want me to record the day and allows you to focus on the important business of enjoying the biggest day of your lives. I have a wealth of experience in property photography from a sales perspective having worked with the excellent Royle estate agency on a freelance basis for the last 18 months.
